募集要項
1．プログラム概要

期間: 2025年2月から6月までの月に1度、継続的な交流会を実施します。

日時: 日本時間で毎月第三日曜日、午前10時から11時半。

共用語: 英語（日本語学習者との交流の中で日本語も使用可能）
-
交流形式: 日米の参加者によるペアまたはグループでの活動を通じて、互いの文化や言語を学びながら、プレゼンテーション作品を作り上げます。（共通アプリCanvaを使用）手順は別紙
2. 対象者

15歳以上の中高生、大学生

オンライン交流会がすべて出席可能な方（可能な限り）

英検3級以上の英語力（または同等の英語力）

積極的に国際交流ができる方

LINEでの交流ができるかた（運営者が間に入り安全管理）

未成年は保護者の了承や賛同が得られる方

5000円 およそ半年間の交流会（スケジュール参照）

※期間中のサポートとして、有料で英語・日本語の個人チューターを提供可能です。交流会の準備や英語の学習をサポートします。
Application Details
Program Outline:
Duration: Monthly meetings from February to June.
Schedule: Third Saturday of each month, 10:00–11:30 AM JST.
Third Saturday of each month except June 8:00-9:30 pm( CDT)
(Second Saturday June 14 same time)
Language: Japanese and English. (Participants can use both Japanese and English during exchanges).
Format: Participants from Japan and the U.S. will collaborate in pairs or groups to learn about each other's cultures and languages while creating presentation works using the common app, Canva (instructions attached).
Eligibility:
Students aged 15 and older (middle/high school and college).
Able to attend all online exchange meetings (as much as possible).
Study/Studied Japanese and willingness to learn and speak.
Enthusiastic about international exchange.
Able to use LINE for communication (with supervision for safety).
Parental consent for minors.
Participation Fee:

$50 for three months of exchange meetings (see schedule below).

Paid one-on-one English or Japanese tutoring is available to support participants with preparation and language learning during the program for request.

We have levels for learning languages, including beginner and advanced. However, we gladly welcome anyone who brings a compelling message that resonates with the audience and enthusiasm for their work, regardless of their language proficiency, or their ability to deliver speeches.学習言語のレベルは初級、上級とありますが、作品への熱量やスピーチではなく観客に訴えかけるメッセージを持っていれば私たちは喜んであなたを迎え入れます
In presentations conducted in English and Japanese, it is preferable to prioritize content that excites and engages friends, rather than focusing solely on fluency.
英語、日本語の学習言語でのプレゼンテーションの発表 流暢さよりもよりエンターティント性が高い、つまりともだちを興奮させる内容のプレゼンテーションが好ましい

The judges are selected from prominent individuals, both domestically and internationally.

We will collect participation fees from the attendees. 参加者から参加料をいただくことで参加への責任感を与えます（参加料は学習会を含んでいます）

Participation in all online events, including the competition day, is mandatory. It is not possible to participate in the competition only without attending study sessions and other meeting.ともだちサミットはプロジェクト学習効果を最大限に引き出すため大会だけの一回きりの参加はみとめません。コンペティション＋交流会への参加をすべて含めたものを大会とします

ともだちサミットを振り返って
【大会開催の目的】
どのレベルの学習者もモチベーションを維持し主体的な学習ができること。コミュニケーション力やプレゼンテーション力を育てる場としてプレゼンテーション大会を企画しました。スライドを使用することで、学習レベルの差を縮めることが可能になり、原稿を暗記し、正確さや流暢さが重視される従来のスピーチコンテストではなく、実社会で生きるコミュニケーション力やプレゼンテーション力を磨く発表の場、参加者が主役のコンテストができると考えました。
単発の大会ではその場だけの出会いで、参加者間の会話も表面的になりがちで、持続可能なつながりや発展も生まれません。また緊張やプレッシャーに弱いためにコンテストに参加しない学習者は数え切れません。そこで、話す経験を重ねる、顔を合わせる回数を増やす回数を増やしました。会前後のオンライン交流会を複数回設定しました。大会準備のために共に学び合う中で、緊張もほぐれ、参加者間にはクラスメイトのような関係が構築されました。学習意欲も高まり、相互理解や友情も芽生え、参加者は個性あふれるプレゼンテーションを披露し、達成感を味わいました。
