初心者から上級者まで、どなたでもご参加いただける内容をご用意しています。様々な人種や年齢層が集うことで生まれる多様性の意識を大切にし、インタラクティブなワークショップからインスピレーションを受けるトークまで、私たちとともに成長と友情の旅に出かけましょう。可能性を探求し、新しい友人を作り、言葉を架け橋により輝かしい未来を築くための一歩を「ともだちサミット」で踏み出しましょう。

プレゼンテーションテーマは昨年同様自由です。
３－５分でプレゼンテーションできるようにまとめてください。

学校や英会話スクール、日米協会などからの団体の参加も歓迎しております。
こちらは参加費無料のエキシビジョン枠となります。グループで一つのプレゼンテーション
動画を作成していただき、５月３１日までにその動画をご提出ください

Presentation Contest Details
Date and Time: Sunday, June 16, 10:00 a.m. (Japan) Sunday, June 15, 8:00 p.m. (U.S. CST time)
Location: Virtual Meeting (connected via Zoom from Hiroshima and Kurashiki venues)
About Presentations

Theme is free choice Contestants must use their second language both for preparing materials and for the language in which they speak

Presentation time is 3-5 minutes. (Points are deducted for exceeding the time limit)

Contestants are required to submit their manuscripts by May 31st.

Judging: Judges evaluate the best of the contestants. Tomodachi Prize to be decided by a vote of all participants.

Fee:$50 (The registration fee is $30 if you register by February2024）
Application deadline: March 24th
The Tomodachi Summit registration fee includes three pre-event exchange meetings where participants can meet and prepare their presentations together. These meetings will take place from March to May. The fee is $50, but if you register by February 2024, the registration fee is discounted to $30

Eligibility：Children to adult English/Japanese language learners All ages are welcome!
We welcome participation from schools, English conversation schools, and organizations such as the Japan-America Society.
This is a free exhibition slot where groups can create one presentation video. Please submit your video by May 31st. (Please note that while participation in the exhibition is free, it does not include access to networking events.)

We will collect participation fees from the attendees. 参加者から参加料をいただくことで参加への責任感を与えます（参加料は学習会を含んでいます）

Participation in all online events, including the competition day, is mandatory. It is not possible to participate in the competition only without attending study sessions and other meeting.ともだちサミットはプロジェクト学習効果を最大限に引き出すため大会だけの一回きりの参加はみとめません。コンペティション＋交流会への参加をすべて含めたものを大会とします

ともだちサミットを振り返って
【大会開催の目的】
どのレベルの学習者もモチベーションを維持し主体的な学習ができること。コミュニケーション力やプレゼンテーション力を育てる場としてプレゼンテーション大会を企画しました。スライドを使用することで、学習レベルの差を縮めることが可能になり、原稿を暗記し、正確さや流暢さが重視される従来のスピーチコンテストではなく、実社会で生きるコミュニケーション力やプレゼンテーション力を磨く発表の場、参加者が主役のコンテストができると考えました。
単発の大会ではその場だけの出会いで、参加者間の会話も表面的になりがちで、持続可能なつながりや発展も生まれません。また緊張やプレッシャーに弱いためにコンテストに参加しない学習者は数え切れません。そこで、話す経験を重ねる、顔を合わせる回数を増やす回数を増やしました。会前後のオンライン交流会を複数回、最大5回参加できるよう設定しました。大会準備のために共に学び合う中で、緊張もほぐれ、参加者間にはクラスメイトのような関係が構築されました。学習意欲も高まり、相互理解や友情も芽生え、参加者は個性あふれるプレゼンテーションを披露し、達成感を味わいました。
